We are a well established architectural practice in SW France offering a bi-lingual French-English service. We undertake new-build, renovation and refurbishment projects at all levels and for all budgets. Our objective is that the finished buildings include ecological materials and sustainable design. This gives you, the client, a house that it is more comfortable, more attractive but also healthier to live in, as well as cheaper to run and longer-lasting than a building using conventional materials and building techniques.
Sean Rawnsley is a qualified RIBA British architect and also a member of the French Ordre des Architectes. He thus combines working in France to French building norms and with French artisans, with an understanding of the design and choice of finishes that an english speaking client would expect. He has a great deal of experience with many kinds of construction but in particular the with subtleties of natural and sustainable materials.
We offer an initial consultation service to establish your needs and give you some preliminary advice on the feasibility of your project.
Whether you live in Australia, London or the Middle East – or full-time in your house in France – we can take your project from the design stage through planning permission and project management while keeping you constantly up-to-dated with progress and costs.
Should you be buying a property in France to restore, or if you are thinking of building a new house and require professional help and advice, please get in touch with us through our Contacts page.
